Do wax melts evaporate?
Unlike candles, wax melts are not in direct contact with a naked flame meaning they do not evaporate. A wax melt can be burned over and over until you can no longer smell the fragrance.
Are wax melt burners and oil burners the same?
No. Oil burners do not heat the wax sufficiently to release the fragrance. Oil burners are commonly made of ceramics whereas wax melt burners are usually made of glass.
How do wax melts work?
Break off one cube and place into the well of your wax melt burner. Place a lit candle below and relax while your chosen fragrance feels your room! Our wax melts have been rigorously tested to ensure they provide the ultimate scent throw.
Are Wax melts safe?
Yes, Wax melts are safe when used for their intended purpose. Wax melts should always be kept out of the reach of children and animals. When in use, an open flame should never be left unattended.
How long do wax melts last?
Our ℮80g wax melt clamshells on average last for around 90 hours of burning. Each square can be burned on average 3-4 times before needing to be replaced. Our wax melts are extremely good value for money!
How do you remove wax melts?
At Epsilon, we only use wax obtained from natural sources. Our wax is a combination of Rapeseed Oil and Coconut wax. This means our wax is fully biodegradable. When you can no longer smell your wax melt, either allow it to harden and remove or use a cotton wool ball to soak up the melted wax.
Can I reuse wax melts?
Once you can no longer smell your wax melt, we recommend replacing it with a new one to ensure your home continues to smell beautiful!
Is the clamshell recyclable?
Our clamshells are manufactured from PET plastic and are fully recyclable. They can be easily cleaned of any remaining wax by carefully pouring boiling water into the clamshell.
